Singer/songwriter Lee Brice, pictured, headlines Joplin's July 4th celebration
Free musical entertainment, good food and great prizes are just a few of the events scheduled for Freedom Fest 2009, Joplin's Independence Day celebration.
The annual event, sponsored by Hardee's, US Cellular, Quapaw Casino and the city of Joplin, will be held in Landreth Park, south of Ozark Christian College, Main Street and Murphy Blvd, on Saturday, July 4th.
Festivities, including live music, begin at 4 p.m. and continue until the evening ends with a 30-minute fireworks display choreographed to popular music beginning about at 9:45 ...more |
