Order seedlings now from Licking, MO nursery vbryan
Updated: 2011-12-06 18:31:57
The order forms for seedling trees and shrubs for the George O. White State Forest Nursery are now available for 2012 delivery. Each year this nursery located near Licking, MO offers Missouri landowners a wide variety of seedlings for reforestation, windbreaks, erosion control and wildlife food and cover.

In addition to individual species choices, several bundles of mixed species designed for special purpose plantings may be ordered. These include bundles of trees for conservation and wildlife covers that include quail and specialized bundles of wild edibles and nut trees and a special 75th anniversary bundle. Topping the order form list is the Shortleaf Pine, the only pine native to Missouri.

The time the order is placed determines priority for reserving trees. So, don't delay. Each year many species sell out quickly. An order form may be found here that details each common name, feature, potential height, pertinent information and photo and price.

Seedling bundles range from $4 to $35 plus sales tax and handling. Payment is made after order is confirmed and just before order is shipped. A bill will be sent to you. To save delivery charges plants may be picked up at the nursery, but it's a goodly drive from most places.
