A man from southern Christian County seen by this surveillence camera at the Nixa Police Department has been located. Nixa Police Department had been under Hazmat lockdown after he apparently innocently dropped off a bottle of sodium cyanide for disposal that affected two employees who handled it.

According to a release from Whitney Weaver, assistant chief of the the Nixa Fire Protection District, the gentleman, a recent resident of the area, found the chemicals in a shed. He claimed that a friend recommended that he dispose of the pills he found and the chemical in question in the medication drop box at Nixa Police headquarters.
