| Quilt entries are being sought for The GLOC Quilt Guild's 2013 Quilt Show "Artisans on Display." This year's show will be held July 19-20, 2013, at the Grove Community Center located at 104 W. 3rd St.
Special features of the show include: an Artisan Shoppe, a Saturday Bed Turning, door prizes, judged show and certified appraisals, classes and demos, vendors and wearable art sales.
Opening hours for this two day show are 10 a.m to 6 p.m. on Friday, July 19 and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday, July 20.
Admission is $5. A drawing for the "Hearts to Hands" donation quilt will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday.
Proceeds from both the show and auctioning off of the donation quilt are used to provide assistance to a number of area organizations as well as to further the art of quilting through guild classes and workshops.
