Joplin Police Blotter: Suicide determined

A little after 7 p.m. on January 10, 2013, Joplin Police responded to 1129 Geneva Ave. Officers found Joel A. Lopez at the residence with an apparent gunshot wound.

An investigation has determined that Mr. Lopez died of self-inflicted injuries. No foul play was found.
