Hi Mari, We appreciate the coverage and publicity regarding kick off luncheon for Joplin's YPN.... However, I wanted to clarify that by the intentions of the forming committee, we believe that the YPN should very much be under the covering of our strong JACC. As a 5-star accrediated Chamber, there is much foundation already laid for networking, meetings, civic involvement, etc - The YPN's function should be to connect young professionals, to serve as the facilitator, to promote exsisting groups, and to help eliminate any gap in leadership. This purpose will best be served in strong alliance with the Chamber. But we were so pleased with the attendace and input we received yesterday, as well as the coverage on your site. Thanks so much!
