How diverse is process?2004-05-26 14:43:14bradley

I am interested to know if this process will handle liquid hog manure. I understand the current process uses turkey offal, which is fairly solid. I can understand that the "flash" process in which the high pressure is reduced suddenly can boil off all the water in the turkey offal, but would it work for liquid hog manure which is 99% water? Also, transportation of liquid hog manure is very expensive compared to more solid waste. In Manitoba, Canada, we have over 1600 hog barns spread over a very large area. How many RES plants would it take to handle all the manure, and how much would it cost? Any system is going to cost more than spreading it on the fields, unless your process produces a LOT of oil Keith Bradley
