Mexico's form of justice2006-04-26 13:42:46n99nt

My husband and I lived in Monterrey, Mexico from August '74 until August '75. They put up no signs in English for us. We were not allowed to purchase real estate and had to show our 'papers' frequently to police and other authorities on demand. How different they treat people than we do. And if we had had the audacity to 'demonstrate' about it, we probably would have gone straight to jail. They don't read you your 'rights' down there either.
